Do you really love your skin? Yes! This was the question being asked by researchers of Netherlands’ Department of Nutritional Physiology and many of the participants were failed to answer that. Among those who answered ‘Yes’, majority couldn’t justify that how they love their skin and how do they take care of their skin.
Skin is not merely a cage to keep your soul and flesh together, it’s not only serves the purpose of protecting us from environmental hazard. In fact, it is the largest organ of the body and also the most neglected one unless or until we get some serious skin problems. As they say, “Care is always better than cure”, so if you really love your skin then you should take good care of it by following 4 golden rules.
Out of the 4 golden rules of skin care the first one is keep yourself hydrated. Don’t forget to drink at least 8 glass of water per day. It will not only keep your skin fresh and shiny but also increases your digestion. Taking a moderated amount of water on daily basis improves your kidneys and removes all the toxins (damage causing substances).
After hydration the 2nd golden rule is to maintain your skin moisture. Your skin shouldn’t be dry. Instead of using any synthetic moisturizer, wash you face with fresh tap water 3 times a day. It will not only keep the outer surface clean but also washes away all the dead cells of skin that otherwise could cause skin infections and spot formation.
“Squeezing pimples is a bad idea; you are inviting a lot of pathogens to cause various skin infections that may even led to brain problems as well”, said Dr. Amy McClung- a clinical dermatologist. So never ever try to pinch your spots, they break the integrity of your skin and let the bacteria, viruses and other disease causing microorganisms to enter and cause more infections. Don’t do anything to such pimples; they get to settle down by time on their own.
